You might have images on your iPhone that you don’t want to immediately erase, but you also don’t want them to be visible in your Photo Library for some (privacy) reason. Without the use of any outside programs, you may conceal any of those images on your iPhone. You can choose to conceal your iPhone’s images natively thanks to Apple.
By using that option, you can ensure that your loved ones who browse your Photo Library won’t be able to see your photos.
Apple has always allowed customers to conceal photographs from its Photo Library. However, the ‘Hidden’ album that contained the hidden pictures was still able to be seen in the Photos app’s Albums section. With the introduction of iOS 14 last year, that experience was modified.
You may entirely conceal images on your iPhone without a third-party software according to the iOS 14 update. Here’s how to go about it.
Without the aid of a third-party app, how to conceal images on an iPhone
Make sure your iPhone is running at least iOS 14 before beginning the instructions on how to hide images in your iPhone without using a third-party software. It’s also crucial to note that iOS’s hidden album is turned on by default.
But if you follow these instructions, you can turn it off. You can conceal your films using the same procedures as for images.
On your iPhone, launch the Photos app.
Choose the image or video that you want to conceal. By selecting the Select button located in the top-right corner of the screen, you can also select several images or videos.
After tapping the Share button, choose Hide from the menu.
Verify that you want to conceal the chosen image(s) or video (s).
Go to Settings and then select Photos.
Turn off the Hidden Album setting by scrolling down.
To view the folder in the Photos app, go through steps 5 and 6 and toggle on the Hidden Album option once more. Please be aware that any movies or photographs you hide may end up on unofficial apps. To conceal or unhide photos on an iPad, use the same instructions as above.
